Projects
I’m an industrial designer with 10+ years in the laptop world, mainly helping clients turn their laptop concepts into mass-produced products. I love stepping out of my comfort zone to explore different products, like IoT devices, and diving deep into material research. My curiosity and hands-on experiments earned me an iF Design Award in 2024. In my spare time, I dive into UI/UX studies to gain fresh perspectives and keep my design thinking well-rounded.
HP Spectre Folio
Metal & Leather Innovation
HP Spectre pushed boundaries by combining cold metal with warm leather—a first for the series. This unexpected material pairing aimed to create a unique and surprising experience for users.
While metal and plastic are standard for mass production, integrating leather introduced new challenges, such as quality control, dimensional accuracy, and supplier coordination. Solving these required careful communication and collaboration across teams, making this project as much about teamwork and problem-solving as it was about design innovation.

Yoga 6 Gen 7
Eco-Friendly Laptop
A planet-friendly laptop with a top cover made from 100% recycled fabric or aluminum. Its convertible design supports touch, pen input, and voice assistants, making it perfect for work, creativity, or entertainment. In this project, I handled communication and coordinated with manufacturers to ensure design feasibility, while also exploring and learning about different materials firsthand.

TeaChic
Sustainable CMF
In this materials development project, our design evolved from concept to application and was awarded the iF Design Award 2024. Through this project, I gained in-depth knowledge of sustainable and recyclable materials, exploring how to integrate them into laptop design. I also learned how detailed design decisions can fully showcase the material’s properties and advantages, resulting in products that are both aesthetically appealing and environmentally responsible.

Dynabook
Antimicrobial Design
During the pandemic, Dynabook enhanced user safety by applying antimicrobial treatments across plastics, metals, and coated surfaces of laptops. I coordinated with manufacturers to ensure the treatments met performance and aesthetic standards while achieving recognized certifications. Through this project, I gained deeper knowledge of material behavior under antimicrobial applications and strengthened my ability to collaborate across teams to translate safety requirements into manufacturable solutions.

Legion 5
Gaming Laptop
This project focuses on Lenovo’s light gaming. We added fun design elements and let users change small details to make their device personal. On the rear part, we added color accents. I learned how to make these small details work for mass production while picking colors that gamers like. These elements show the energy and style of gamers.

UI / UX
Completed a UI/UX Bootcamp, experiencing the full design workflow: uncovering user pain points, conducting in-depth interviews, and ideating creative solutions for impactful design outcomes.
Tiny Feet
APP design
For first-time mothers, everything can feel overwhelming, and having a supportive companion can bring much-needed reassurance.
Interviews revealed that mothers often juggle multiple apps—some for tracking pregnancy, others for post-birth baby care—because no single app covers both stages. A platform that tracks both the mother’s and baby’s wellbeing, and allows sharing with partners, would be highly valuable.

Listening
enhance APP
Listening aims to enhance user experience by helping users get answers quickly and effortlessly.
Through interviews with 10 users, we found that nearly 9 out of 10 experienced this minor yet inconvenient issue. Addressing it is therefore key to improving the app, with research being the most critical part of this five-part project.

weCamping
Responsive Web Design
weCamping is a website dedicated to camping information. With lifestyles shifting toward nature and wellness, camping has grown in popularity in Taiwan. Beginners often struggle with details like choosing tents or finding suitable campsites. Existing websites are overly simplified, and user surveys show that experience sharing and reselling used gear are also important. Our website aims to address these needs.
